I have wagered on millions of hands of 21. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was 16. I have enjoyed online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost all kinds of cash at chemin de fer. The gambling dens have made it basically impossible to defeat the house.
I still enjoy the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have gambled on a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get loaded with this tactic or beat the house, however you will experience a lot of fun. This method is built on the fact that 21 seems to be a game of streaks. When you are hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy blackjack. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the action back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely enjoyable at times. If you win a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quick. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had great runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Palms a couple of years ago with $750 after 30 minutes using this tactic! And a few months ago in Sin City I left a table with $1200!
You must comprehend that you can give up much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be astonished at the streaks you see betting this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 game.
Wager 5 dollar
Take $5 paid to you, leave the original $5 bet
Bet $5
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Bet 10 dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the initial 10 dollar bet
Bet ten dollar
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Wager twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the first $20 bet
Wager $20
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of $40
Wager 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the first forty dollar bet
Wager forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Wager 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the original 80 dollar wager
Wager $80
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total bet of $160
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 160 dollar bet
If you left at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is difficult to go on a streak this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your wager or the final result will not be the same.
